I was messing around with maelstrom and rainbow. They did not take offense to it, and they knew it was me. _________________ Lead, follow or get outa the way! |

What I am curious about now is...a few weeks ago, I posted how UFO was using my name, and doing it solely to piss me off and make me look bad. I was told, by omni I believe, that unless it was an admin's name, that its harmless and not against the rules. Why then was I banned for this, even though I wasnt doing it to annoy anyone, and banned WEEKS later?
If it is against the rules, then IMO, it should be added to the rules of engagement or something.
BTW...sorry for posting this in the wrong section. I thought i clicked bans originally and I was in a rush at the time. _________________ Lead, follow or get outa the way! |

1.)Admin discretion
2.)Sometimes admins see this as people joking around with eachother and let it go, other times we can see it as trying to slander or discredit someone by taking their name (for example using your name and teamkilling, spamming racist comments, etc.)
3.)Lastly sometimes the name stealing is or appears to be part of a bot package that will randomly change the stealers name to that of various other players that are in server at the same time.
4) Do not spam on the microphone or via text. (i.e disrupting the game play for others)
6) Do not make racial comments, or single out a player and abuse him/her.
It's all in the interpretation of the above, and what we can actually see transpiring in server based on context. |

Ç is a french alphabet character amongst many other lesser known languages, a modified C. It has an "S" sound.
e.g. Ça means that

# French (cé cédille). Examples: français "french", grinçant "squeaking", leçon "lesson", reçu "received" (past participle). French uses this character at the beginning of a word (ça "that"), but not at the end.[1] In French comic books that are hand-lettered in all-capitals, the cedilla is written as a slash crossing the center of the lower hook of the letter "C", at the angle of an acute accent.
# English. A few words are sometimes spelled in English with a "ç", almost all of them borrowings from French. For example, soupçon, garçon, and façade. |
