I'd love to hear your voice Skallys (In my head you sound like Screech from Saved by the Bell), but last attempt at using vent was pretty disappointing.
Long story long, I'm a Mac gal; and Paris helped me a while back to get vent set up on my machine @ work that also runs windows. I was able to run UT on the Mac side and vent on the Win side. We were able to chat for a while, but it kept disconnecting. Now tho, the IT Nazis put in a new firewall that blocks pretty much everything (they missed umg forums it seems), And I haven't tried to install the Vent for Mac client @ home yet.
I have xfire @ home, maybe I can get a little tech support from U or Barbie so I can get in on the fun? |
