Calling all COD4 Players. The UMG COD4 is set back to 50 man on TDM. I added patch 1.6, so we have 4 additional maps to play on. I wanted to try and get the COD4 server more active, so if you have the game don't be a stranger. If we get a lot of people for Friday we can continue the PUG for Saturday and Sunday too.

| We got a showing for the pug match, but we need some more people. So, if you have COD4 or know people that do tell them to come. |

I was going to be there, but I had forgotten about my hard drive crash about a month ago which forced me to restore an older Ghost image of my system drive. In other words, technically, the game is still there on my H: drive, but when I looked to for the icon to launch it, I remembered that Windows doesn't know about it anymore so I need to reinstall it over itself. 
So, Bob, when is the next official get-together going to be? Maybe it can be a weekly event, eh? 
I warn you guys, though, that I've only played the campaign, and that was a while ago, so consider me the ultimate CoD4 MP n00b.  |

| We can make it a weekly thing, 8:00 PM CST everything Friday night, and if you guys want to extend it to Saturday and Sunday that works for me too. |

Thanks for the reminder. After seeing this, I went to reinstall, and at the end I got two errors:
I got the above twice followed by (eventually):
And with that, the installation aborted.
It's probably stupid Punkbuster. I'll keep working on it, though. |

Ah, that's why I couldn't find it at first, you sneak. The ol' "add a bunch of a's at the beginning to move to the top of the list" trick.
Alright, I've installed and updated and was able to connect to the server, so I guess I'm good to go.
I've forgotten about the insane mouse sensitivity in this game, though. I've already changed it from 5.0 (default) to 1.0 in the config file (slider was already to the far left nearly, so manual tweak was necessary), and it's still twitchy as ever. It's going to take a bit to get used to it again.

Oh, and not to nitpick, but do you mean 8:00 CDT? (8:00 CST would actually be 9 p.m. "fake daylight savings time.") |
