Here is a video of the person in question... would this be considered cheating? Please advise... since I honestly can't tell what's a cheat and what isn't (I just know that some folks in this game seem to have aim that is incredible...)
He sure is VERY good with a sniper rifle (hence his name...) and well.. I guess he has the aim of god too. /shrug

I'm fairly sure he's legit. Seems like he'd give me a run for my money in a sniper duel.

hmmm it looks like a snap when he is pointing at teh ground to the back of their base? Or is this just me? Because i watched this guy the other day and i seen a similar snap so i started to fraps, and well i got this guy getting a ultra kill, all headshots :/ Im not sure, I will fraps more
Edit: And darkfury can we get a full quality version of this? It would help a lot |

A couple of us were watching him today at around 3pm est. and it's tough to say, but we think he is. He's not stupid enough to use an obvious bot, or at least obvious settings. His doesn't snap significantly. However, we thought we saw slight snapping. It seems like he's close enough that you can barely, if at all, see a snap. However, 70% of his kills were headshots, and that's VERY ridiculous when you consider the rest of his skills. A couple of guys recorded him, so hopefully they'll post it soon. |

I got four videos of him, I will re-encode and hopefully you will be able to watch them on Youtube on high quality if I can get the settings right.
Also got two screenshots uploaded right now, check them out.
Also it gets pretty dam obvious that he has a bot when I get in and out of manta near the water (Redeemer area) very quickly and all his shots landed on me. The first shot landed on me in my manta coming for redeemer (Hit manta which had very low health, was down to approx 25), the second I was outside picking up redeemer for a second or two, the third one I was back in manta, it had touched a bit of water so it had 11 HP and I was moving away and he shot me and I died. Keep in mind this action happened under ten seconds.

| its pretty bad now days that a player cant just be good. they always gotta be a botter dont they? LOL. Well, take screen shots, videos, whatever. You will not find me hacking, i just make it a point to only use the sniper rifle as much as possible to go along with my players name. You wont find no snapping or what not in my play. Just a solid sound player thats good at shooting noobs in the head. Oh, BTW. That first video. Good job at editing it to make it look like a snap when in all reality the guy cut out 22 seconds of the video. Watch the game time. Goes from 8:19 to 7:57. Nice try loser. I guess you should of edited out the time clock and maybe you could of got away with something. Now you gotta start to wonder about the credibility of the videos ppl are posting. Geesh, get a life. Just cuz ur noob asses are getting owned doesnt mean someones a botter. OH BTW, i only actually hit about 1 in 4 of my shots. check the stats fools. |

| I'm sorry but if there is no evidence of snapping there is at least a great level of suspicion around you. How would you know of an enemy incoming if you have not seen him first (I have evidence of this in one of the video segments)? Good players miss often too, with sniper you almost never do. Also the fact that you do not act like a sniper but instead spam with sniper shots means that there might be more than skill involved. Your case is at least worth of further scrutiny. |

actually, I only hit 27% of my sniper shots. I wouldn't say thats almost never missing. investigate away.
Whatever happened to someone just being good? Why does it always gotta be "your a botter!"? why not, "damn dood, your a good shot." What is this gaming world coming to? Aimbots have made it no fun to play anymore for anyone. |

| You are in luck I guess. My videos are unusable. Or at least they can play but I cannot re-encode them because for some reason the encoders I have don't work. Anyone knows of a site that can host a few GB's at a time? |

I'm sure that first video wasn't edited in an attempt to fake it. Likely just 2 segments put together. This wasn't random. There are at least 15 people who are suspicious of him. When this happens, it's brought to the forums with any available recordings for due process.
PS: I didn't mean to outright say he's a cheater. I just wanted to bring suspicious activity to the authorities to be looked at - essentially giving my 2 cents.
SniperElite, I've got no problems with players who are good. I've played against some of the best CTF players out there. I'm one of the last guys to cry foul, but you were suspicious based on the number of headshots you were getting, about 50% of your kills, and you weren't just headshotting noobs, some of those guys are pretty good, and very mobile. If you're ruled to be clean, then fine, I'll leave you alone. I'm not here to harrass people, I'm here to play and have fun, but I hate botters just like anyone else, so I'm always on the lookout.
If you're curious, the other part of my suspicion was the fact that your other game skills were nowhere near the level of your sniping which is VERY uncommon. However, if all you do is snipe, then that would make sense.
PS: A bot doesn't guarantee a ridiculously high shooting percentage. And i'm sure they're programmed to miss enough times in an attempt to not look suspicious. |

Trial version of FRAPS only gives you 30 seconds... then you have to mash it again.
Pretty much, you made some AMAZING shots that I saw while watching you.
Basically, you are either cheating... or you also have the aim of a god. Which one is it? Hmmmmmmmm.... I wasn't the only one who noticed this. |
