So assuming you are friends is obvious, but assuming you are the same person is unprofessional? Is it still unprofessional when "Kaws" has come into forums, throwing it in everyone's face that he does bot, then makes statements he will still be getting back into the server?
You may appeal to server owner. You might have a chance of getting it removed as he may not read this thread first to see your shining posts. |

I'm not reading all of it. But Kaws and Admiral_Kaw are two different people. My understanding, from Admiral, is that the Kaw is the mascot of a college in whereeverthefuckstate they live.
But I've known Kaws since the beginning of the game. |

| Admiral_Kaw and Kaws are two different people. I have seen them both play at the same time in the past. Kaw told me you quit and admitted to you cheating but said that he himself does not cheat, which was a lie. So maybe he was lying about you cheating, but that doesnt add up to me especially if you're friends. |

jjz, you weren't in vctf from the beginning.
Admiral_Kaw and kaws were/are friends - not the same people. Just like Triadcool/Southland/Drillbita/whatever.the.new.alias.of.the.month.is. and GodFatha (Puttertouch) were/are friends...
And everyone was suspicious of Godfatha "back in the day" too. Not saying, just saying.

| Uh. Anyone else think it's kinda hard for 2 players to be controlled by one person? Considering that many of us old vctf players remember playing with both at the same time, kinda rules out that possibility... |

not if you consider one has a hash and one doesn't. I know I have multiple computers at my house. Installing one full, and one with keygen (and apparently bot on the demo one, at the very least) isn't out of reason. If you want to argue something, do it in another thread, over whether you ban a household, a player, or an install.
When I see evidence, not just happenstance 2 cent comments, I will reconsider my position. |

100 vctf players.
2 players for each state (excluding population concentration differences).
100-200 counties per state (let's say 150).
So, given that Admiral Kaw is in county A there are 149 other possible counties for Kaws07 to be in besides the same one as Admiral Kaw. So there is a 1/150 chance he is in the same county (again, excluding population concentration differences).
Let's return to the 2 players for each state.
Let each player be unique (100 unique players). Let's place a player ("Admiral Kaw") in a state (Georgia). Now, there are 49 other possible states for Kaws07 to be in besides the same one as Admiral Kaw. So there is a 1/50 chance he is in the same state.
So, this means that there is a (1/50)*(1/150) chance that Admiral kaw and Kaws07 are in the same state and county. This is roughly 1.3333333333333333333333333333333e-4 on a probability scale of [0..1].
0.013 percent... roughly One 100th of 1 percent... Now there are a few things that are wrong with this calculation, of course. First, population distributions are not equal throughout the US, but I don't want to look up populatiosn to make everything weighted correctly. Second, I did not bother to include the probability that Admiral Kaw and Kaws07 know each other given that they are in the same state and county. So I have one part that negatively affects the results and one that positively affects them.
But this should give a VERY ROUGH idea of the chances that what Kaws07 is saying is true. I just don't see it as very likely in such a small community. Maybe in a community like TF2 it would make a lot more sense, but not in one of 100 people for US vCTF.
As I said, the math is against you, but there is that 1/100th of a percent chance I am wrong ;/.

It doesn't make sense, to pick virtually the same name as an alias, just after you've been banned for hacking, to log back in the server.
Besides, two players playing, and I mean PLAYING not logged, at once should be proof enough. Although there's no actual proof of that situation, so yeah, tough luck. |
