19 of July I was specing in the UMG vctf server after a long return from gaming to only see a person by the name of Tillis I believe log in as an admin and the next thing I know I'm baned. It looks like he/she must of thought Im Admiral_Kaw but this isn't true, just ask some of the old regulars. I know Admiral got caught hacking but I have done no such thing, please fix this.
1. Kaws
2. UMG vCtf
3. Tillis/Tillus, can't remember exactly

| It's unfortunate I dont have a screenshot but Admiral_Kaw has testified before that you use to cheat. If i'm not mistaken you two are friends but from your original post you sound like you dont know him. |

| Just because a guy who cheats says someone else cheats doesnt meant that person does. Perhaps Kaw was just angry at kaws07 for some reason. |

I remember kaws from awhile ago, honestly i thought admiral_kaw and Kaws were the same person until i played with them both at the same time.
So yeah, prolly just a crazy "*** is that kaw" omgBAN moment. |

Then again, according to their IP addresses, they both live near the same relatively small city. Similar names? Same city? Coincidence? Who knows.  (And playing them both "at the same time" doesn't necessarily rule out anything.)
Fact of the matter is that Admiral_Kaw forever tainted the gamertag "Kaw" in any and all forms. If you had yours before he came up with his, then it just sucks to be you because you need to change it. Sorry, but that's just the way it is. Life isn't always fair.
Don't blame Tillis; don't blame UMG; blame Admiral_Kaw.
P.S. I have no idea why Tillis banned you (I haven't checked the admin section), so maybe it was for something else; but the above are my sentiments about the situation. |

| Yes I did put the ban in. I asked around since I didn't think "Kaws" was that popular of a name. No one knew who you were, other than to agree it was likely you are one and the same, and you were asking about various other players, indicating you were aware of other people (which is odd for someone no one else knew at the time). I will look into an IP match up, if you do not correspond to same ISP or region, I will remove it. |

Admiral Kaw is a classmate, I taught him how to play back in UT 99. Unfortanutley he couldn't match me so Im assuming thats why he resorted to hackin  . Of course we live in the same region.....We grew up together. Its rediculous for me to get banned over my name.... not too professional. We both created these names almost 10 years ago and they stuck. And like I said, I took a long break from gamming so of course no1 of recent would know me....Try Buzzkillington, Impeach_Bush, Sensation Black, cdh and even one of your admins Ethyn. And thats why I was asking around if Pwanagevelocity still played...luv that guy........

That's exactly the point. This is not a profession. I don't get paid a dime for the hundreds of hours of my free-time I or any of the other admins donate to the server. To expect me to do cartwheels for you or others in your situation because your "buddy" the hacker chose to break the rules is outlandish.
As I said in my first post, your "buddy" is the one responsible for all this, so blame him, not me. |

wow ur an admin? I wouldn't expect an admin to have this kind of an attitude towards ppl who have not done any thing against the rules and get banned w/ out an explanation. U are representing UMG btw so I hope you don't get pissy with all members of this forum. Then again it looks like ur a Junior admin which seems very fitting.
P.S.- Mr Powertrip I see ur still watchin my post just dying to respond w/ ur ill tainted comments and again I say just go away. You are opening a can of worms you have no business with. |

Mega had posted at the same time I was typing out my response, and I only saw his after mine was posted. Having the same idea I had, to check into location, he had already done the legwork to find out you are both conveniently located in the same city.
The fact both of us, moreso him, because he wasn't even the one that placed the ban, looked into this for you, is the definition of an admin being "professional". We read your appeal, and to determine if it holds legitmate concern, researched. All without a paycheck. Your responses are hostile at best at this point.
Secondly, I'd like to point out you wish for people to post that would possibly be in your favor, on the basis they have chatted with you in game. Which holds no ground for evidence, as I can chat with someone for 5 minutes to convince them I'm a 13 yr old female midget from Rowanda with a new name. Yet you don't feel another admin, with experience and with access to your information should have no input because it could be detrimental to your appeal, should post.

Based on the fact you have the same name, live in the same area, and seemed to me to make a point in your appeal you knew OF "admiral", but left out you actually KNEW him (suddenly you are childhood buddies) until it was seen you are from the exact same area, I'm am leaving the ban in place. I will be willing to look at any evidence that would prove you are a seperate individual, and if I find it legitimate will remove the ban immediately.

Well I say ask them because they have been in game the same time both admiral and I were playing.....obviously I didn't mean I chatted w/ them I think that would be a miracle in itself to have all those ppl believing what I typed to them over the internet. The proof is there, Can I have some1 else look into these matters please, other than the person who banned me and Mr Jr admin. Ethyn (an Admin) can vouch for me Im sure he remembers me back when I used to play in the server daily. Vctf can use all the good players it can get, its so dead having only one server ever populated.

Wow u make it sound like I was trying to hide that I know Admiral. I would only think it would make since that we know each other considering the names? Kaws is our highschool mascott. Man I feel like Im beating my head against a brick wall, this is mad.
