Why are people always trying to get dates pushed back. If you cant play on the date then dont sign up.

while I agree with northstarrs point. I think scheduling during holiday breaks can be detrimental to attendance and thus detract from the greater enjoyment of the tournament. So I like playing jan 4 or 5 and I would have played today if necessary.

I didn't get the word about the date change...doesn't work so well for me. I'll try to be around but doubt I'll make it.

The Official Times for the Tournament will be 7:00 PM CST on Friday January 4, 2008 and 6:00 PM CST on Saturday January 5, 2008. Round 1 matches will be held on Friday and Round 2 and 3 will be held on Saturday. All Teams are expected to be on the UMG Team Speak (IP:208.100.57.178) 10 minutes before the start of their match. The server password will be given out in Team Speak. Here are the Teams you will be completing against. The Teams and the Times you play at have been selected randomly.

Thanks Bob. Couple of questions, though... are there only 8 teams? Aren't there players that tried to sign up individually but with no team (like Qayos)? Is 6lo Arties team?

Well, I just downloaded teamspeak and tested it out. So far I'd have to agree with Nny that the quality is subpar compared to alternatives like Ventrillo. So may we use Ventrillo instead and just have the password provided through xfire?
