well I installed and played the game, it was ok.

I found that unwheel modifies the default interface music and shows a rotating car while loading any map (even ONS maps).

Another thing I experienced was my ONS game crashing almost after every match. (related to that rotating car no doubt)

So I tried to remove unwheel:
1) removed all references to unwheel from user.ini and ut2004.ini, it didn't help (same weird noise on the interface and that rotating car)
2) deleted all the new files I added (sort by created date, then delete).
This caused ut2004 to throw an error while starting, and quit. (runtime error).

I'm reinstalling ut2004 now...
