I'm not a UT3 player but I'm wondering what "hack" you use to disable the haze which endoskeleton's demo showed?
Is it a game setting or a video card hack?
Nothing works for me in UT2004. _________________ The time has come, To talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax, Of cabbages--and kings-- And why the sea is boiling hot-- And whether pigs have wings. |

Since I can never download from Mediafire because the site is completely broken to me, I can only think that this was on Sandstorm and its an INI setting that shuts off the fog. UT3 Tweaker will disable it if you put it to set all settings to highest performance. I had to have that with my old video card because it causes it to almost completely freeze. _________________ UMG UT3 Warfare and vCTF Admin

Yeah, so I've discovered; hard to believe you can disable something through an ini file that is so integral to the competitive level of the map. _________________ The time has come, To talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax, Of cabbages--and kings-- And why the sea is boiling hot-- And whether pigs have wings. |

As someone who only downloads from these free services, I have to say filefront is by FAR the best. _________________

Well if they can actually make the game perform better with the sandstorm running (The map itself has caused countless issues for many people) then they could just make the game ignore that setting. _________________ UMG UT3 Warfare and vCTF Admin

in my opinion, it looks like there is snapping going on there |
Here's an encounter sMURFFRUMs had with diginho15 starting at the 20 second mark (frame 600 specifically) . I clipped it out for everyone's convenience:
http://www.umgleague.com/upload/UT3/VCTF-CTF/sMURFFRUMs-clip.avi. (It's only 1.96 MB and six seconds long.)
That encounter demonstrates without a doubt that sMURFFRUMs is not employing the use of any aim-bot as he clearly misses diginho15 far more than he actually hits him. That alone invalidates this video as proof that sMURFFRUMs is cheating--just the opposite in fact--but let us briefly discuss the rest of the video anyway to put this matter to rest once and for all.
I do grant you that the low quality of your video and, more importantly, the non-zoomed, 3rd-person perspective does make it appear that sMURFFRUMs never misses his long distance targets, but that's simply not the case.
Normally, I dismiss self-created videos made by the "accused," but in this case, I do strongly encourage everyone who is having any doubts about sMURFFRUMs's integrity to view, at the very least, sMURFFRUMs's first video above. When seeing what he is seeing--close-up targets thanks to the Nemesis' zoom from a 1st-person perspective--you can clearly see that there is no funny business going on.
It doesn't even matter if his videos are of a different match than the one you submitted. Think of it as an oral make-up exam an accused cheater has to take. Bottom-line, he clearly demonstrates that he has the ability to get kill after kill swiftly going from one target to the next simply because he is very skilled and disciplined. Period.
In conclusion, after careful scrutiny of this new evidence, we have once again determined that sMURFFRUMs is not a cheater. End of story.
I am now locking this thread because this matter is officially closed. |
