...and that's at 1024 x 768 with normal/low setting and some stuff unchecked. New PC works great but when it comes to games...the on-board video card...wow 
I guess I'll just have to keep waiting until I fix my other one  It's waiting for some more and better parts. Runs right now but I only have an Athlon 64 3200+ and ATI 9600 Pro in it so I just want to wait until I get those parts before I put XP on it.

Ya, start by installing the latest driver for your vid card. I got another 5-6fps just with that.

Thanks guys, it has the latest video driver on that machine...videogame is its weakest link - it is a "business" desktop afterall.
I should be able to boot XP on my old machine today, and ya if this belongs in the Tech section Mods you can move it. |

Ya got the other one all set up and everything besides sound, can't get the on-board workin  maybe it's turn off in the BIOS or I probably installed the wrong one but I plan on using a sound card anyway so I'll just disable it.
It would so NOT be funny if the sound on this motherboard is broke too   |

I don't really like all the detail and shit in UT2004, I play on 800x600 resolution, 0xAA, 0xAF, on an 1600x1200 19" monitor
I don't like it when everything is so small, headsohts are more difficult
