| Its hard to believe that a couple of friends decieded to play the same game together? The odds are against it?? LOL. Why ban me if I don't hack, wheres the proof that I hack, HELL WHERES THE PROOF THAT IM ADMIRAL KAW??? I should be innocent untill proven guilty. U just THOUGHT!!!!! I was Admiral and banned me, WRONG. I don't think respectable players of the vCTF community would waste their time posting on a forum if they didn't strongly believe you **** up w/ banning me. It's obvious you just don't want to admit it and correct yourself, oh well I'm too uphauled to even want to keep battling, it's not worth it. Thanks for nothing. |

THE ODDS ARE AGAINST IT. Yes. Its not hard to believe friends would play a game together, but it is hard to believe it for a game with such a small community.
I will admit I am wrong when it is proven that I am wrong. A decision isn't proof, so I will not admit I am wrong even if you are unbanned because of an admin decision. Not that it matters to you, if you are unbanned.

1. It also does not make sense when you are caught botting, a ban is put in place, to come back to the forums here and admit you do cheat, rub it in everyone's faces, and give a heads up you will be coming back in around ban. Just read the forums more and you will see plenty of people that have been banned, and come back in under the same name, or a name that gives an indicator they are the person that was banned.
2. There have been plenty of bans put in place where household/computer ban was an issue. There have also been bans where the player claims their brother/cousin/friend/roomate was the ones that caused the problem (botting, teamkilling, sabotage, racist comments, etc.). I can't take into account "WHO" is at the computer. And in this case, they are exact same region, exact same ISP, obviously similar names. A few regulars saying "I've seen both names play at the same time" does very little for me.
If you can provide proof Kaws it is seperate households, I will remove the ban. That being said, if you suddenly have a new range only for that one point of proof, I will consider that falsified as to me it would indicate you logged on elsewhere/hooked in your computer elsewhere. And of course you can appeal, as has been said more than a few times, to server owner. He can reverse the ban put in place if he feels I don't have adequate cause, or you have adequate evidence. |

I have old screenshots from being an admin - unfortunately none of them include Kaws because he wasn't around long...couple months maybe. I only have one that actually has Admiral_Kaw in game (screenie was taken for another reason - not AK) and it includes his IP. Obviously the UMG Admins already have that info.

| we already ran both IP's ginger, that's how we found out they use the same exact ISP from the same city, all before he admitted to being childhood friends. As I said in my post before I even looked, if the names alone just happened to be similar, but different ISP and region, I would have removed ban. |

You want proof, give me good time for you to be on the server, remove both bans and we will simply load in and PROVE to you we are different players. Hell don't even remove the ban just give me your xfire and we can set up a random server. Ill have Dustin log into his Admiral account and Ill log in as me Kaws, and all 3 of us well have nice little party. Oh and check the ips while we are in game b/c they will be different, we live in different cities. TADA are u there?

| man, i didnt even know this conversation was going on until ole kawsy told me on the phone tonight. I guess i should check this section more often. I spent some time reading through all this stuff and its hilarious. But ya, Kaws never hacked, only me. But if anyone here doesn't think us being on at the SAME EXACT time is proof enough that were not the same player is an IDIOT! How the hell could I play 2 separate computers on 2 separate names and keep both relatively close to the top of the scorers list every game? Last time I checked this game required both hands to play. If anyone has figured out how to play this game with only one hand lemme know cuz ur absolutely amazing!! So unless I got 4 hands and 2 heads its not likely that we are the same person. But whatever, just a game. Its all just fun and giggles!! |
